About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst/Data Analysis leads requirements and analysis for delivery. You will elicit and document complex requirements, translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, and guide teams and junior analysts, leveraging AI-assisted analysis tools.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (3-4 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Must be able to prioritize and self-start.
Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.
Must be enthusiastic and have passion for learning and constant improvement.
Must be open to collaboration, feedback and client asks.
Must enjoy working with a vibrant team of outgoing personalities.
7+ years of business analysis experience on IT programs
Strong requirements elicitation, modeling, and documentation skills
Experience with Agile delivery and backlog management
Excellent communication skills with technical and business stakeholders

Nice To Haves

Federal IT or financial-regulatory experience
CBAP or Agile Analysis certification
Familiarity with AI-assisted analysis tooling

Responsibilities

Lead elicitation, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements
Translate business and regulatory needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Facilitate backlog refinement and prioritization with Product Owners
Model business processes, data flows, and workflow requirements
Mentor junior analysts and review requirements artifacts
Support UAT planning, test scenarios, and deliverable acceptance
Leverage AI-assisted tools for requirements analysis and documentation
