About The Position

The Corporate Solutions team within A+E Technology implements and supports the applications used by the Human Resources and Legal & Business Affairs organizations, including enterprise-wide platforms such as Workday, eDocs, and Docusign. While many of these solutions are third-party applications—primarily SaaS and client-server platforms—they often require integration with A+E’s technology infrastructure for hosting, security, identity management, and single sign-on. The Sr. Business Analyst, Corporate Solutions will collaborate with business stakeholders, Technology peers, and management to support and enhance the existing corporate applications ecosystem while identifying and delivering technology solutions to address evolving business needs. This role will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business and user requirements, supporting application operations, and contributing to project management activities for new implementations, enhancements, integrations, and process improvements.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in business analysis.
1–2+ years of recent experience implementing or supporting corporate, HR, or Legal applications, including vendor-provided and custom-built solutions.
Knowledge of HR and Legal business processes, with an understanding of how technology can be leveraged to support these business areas.
Excellent analytical, verbal, written, facilitation, and organizational skills.
Experience conducting user audits using Excel or other appropriate tools.
Self-motivated, collaborative, and highly interested in systems, technology, and process improvement.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to address business challenges.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels of management.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
Experience working in the media industry, including experience with an agency, technology vendor, or media company.
Experience configuring and integrating HR applications, such as Workday, strongly preferred.
Experience supporting Legal applications, such as eDocs or similar document-management systems, preferred.
Experience supporting corporate applications, such as DocuSign, preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements analysis, functional and technical design, and production implementation for HR and Legal applications, including Workday, eDocs, DocuSign, and other third-party solutions.
Analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows to produce clear, concise, and unambiguous system requirements.
Review business use cases and validate that they adequately address proposed HR and Legal business-process flows.
Ensure that business and technical requirements are understood, agreed upon, and formally approved by the appropriate stakeholders at key stages of the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with internal Software Development and Infrastructure teams to continuously evaluate and improve the HR and Legal application technology ecosystem.
Identify opportunities where technology, new system development, enhancements to existing applications, and integration solutions can improve efficiency, productivity, and user experience.
Serve as a liaison among vendors, Technology teams, and business stakeholders to identify process enhancements, resolve issues, and define system improvements.
Work closely with vendor support organizations and internal Technology teams to support and maintain existing HR and Legal applications.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve application issues in a timely manner while minimizing business disruption.
Identify recurring defects, break/fix issues, and root causes; recommend and implement actions to prevent recurring problems.
Monitor application performance and stability and escalate issues to the appropriate internal or vendor support teams.
Document incidents, resolutions, known issues, and support procedures to improve knowledge sharing and operational effectiveness.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
Provide direction and guidance to assigned project managers, review project requests, and coordinate project activities across stakeholders and Technology teams.
Prepare project activity and progress reports for regular status reporting, covering both project initiatives and application-support work.
Monitor project progress, dependencies, issues, and risks to help ensure that programs, initiatives, and projects are delivered on time and within agreed-upon scope.
Proactively identify risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans to address potential impacts to timelines, resources, budget, and deliverables.
