Position Overview Woolpert is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic Global Transformation team. This position reports to the Global Director of Business Transformation and is responsible for bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role is responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and driving data-informed recommendations that support strategic initiatives and operational improvements. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role
  • Strong experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Visio, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
  • Familiarity with SQL or data querying tools
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Experience supporting system implementations or digital transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and opportunities
  • Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements (user stories, process flows, use cases)
  • Analyze current-state processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements sessions
  • Translate business needs into clear specifications for technical teams
  • Support solution design, testing (UAT), and implementation activities
  • Develop business cases, including cost-benefit and ROI analysis
  • Track and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes
  • Ensure alignment between delivered solutions and business objectives
  • Drive data analysis and reporting to support decision-making
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices
