The Senior Building Operations Technology Analyst position is to define the building automation system scope and architecture based upon user needs to include the programming and development of control systems and data management as it relates to strategic building automation, energy management and infrastructure initiatives. The Building Systems group provides employees, visitors, patients, and guests with seamless power, monitoring and control, and communication services through our Building Operations Technologies (BOT), High Voltage Power Systems (HVPS), Outage Coordination, Two-Way Radios, and Vertical Conveyance and the Work Control Coordination teams. Advancing MD Anderson’s mission of making cancer history through innovative and transformational engineering, technology and sustainable solutions to develop and maintain intelligent, safe and efficient facilities that promote healing and discovery. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in building automation and controls within healthcare environments. They will have hands-on expertise in programming (Block or PPCL), system integration, networking, startup, functional performance testing (FPT), commissioning, and ongoing application support. A deep understanding of industry-standard BAS protocols is required, along with proficiency in platforms such as Siemens APOGEE or Desigo CC, Tridium Niagara, EATON Foreseer, Clockworks, and Trane Ensemble. The successful candidate will be a technically skilled professional who can effectively manage complex healthcare facility systems while ensuring operational efficiency and project success.
