About The Position

The SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is central to SAP’s AI-first strategy. As a Senior BTP AI Onboarding Advisor, you will be a strategic leader focused on driving the enterprise-scale adoption of SAP Business AI across SAP’s global customer base. Your role will extend beyond onboarding execution to shaping AI activation strategies, influencing executive stakeholders, and accelerating customer transformation from initial enablement to scaled, agent-driven change. You will be instrumental in operationalizing the “AI-First, Suite-First” vision by guiding customers to integrate AI into their business processes using SAP BTP, SAP Build, Joule, and AI Foundation services. Operating within a global shared services model, you will establish standards for AI onboarding excellence, enhance enablement assets, and act as a subject matter expert for complex and high-value engagements.

Requirements

  • Advanced functional and technical knowledge of SAP BTP, including BTP Cockpit, global account structures, and subaccount configurations.
  • Strong understanding of SAP’s Business AI strategy, including Joule, AI Foundation services, and SAP Build.
  • Proven experience navigating BTP commercial models, including AI unit licensing and consumption tracking.
  • Ability to confidently operate hands-on in the platform to validate architecture and demonstrate value.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns and platform extensibility.
  • Ability to clearly articulate distinctions between SaaS and PaaS models and their onboarding implications.
  • Experience aligning technical onboarding with broader enterprise IT and transformation strategies.
  • Executive-level communication and storytelling skills.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority in a matrixed, global organization.
  • High learning agility and passion for emerging AI technologies.
  • Strong balance between strategic thinking and operational precision.
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, presales, customer success (CSP/CSM), solution architecture, or account management roles supporting enterprise customers.
  • 3+ years in a post-sales customer ownership role with accountability for adoption, value realization, and expansion.
  • Demonstrated success driving cloud platform adoption and explaining architectural value to technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working within global or shared-services delivery models strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a senior advisor to enterprise customers, guiding AI activation roadmaps and long-term adoption strategies.
  • Translate SAP’s Business AI vision into actionable transformation plans tailored to customer architectures.
  • Partner with account teams to align AI onboarding with commercial strategy and consumption growth objectives.
  • Engage executive stakeholders to articulate the value of AI-enabled platform innovation.
  • Provide deep, hands-on guidance across SAP BTP AI services, SAP Build (Joule for Developers / Joule Studio), Joule for Consultants, and AI Foundation services.
  • Oversee complex onboarding scenarios involving entitlements, provisioning, AI unit consumption, and global account hierarchies.
  • Articulate and differentiate SaaS vs. PaaS onboarding models, including architectural and commercial implications.
  • Remove technical and strategic barriers inhibiting AI adoption at scale.
  • Lead the development and continuous refinement of global onboarding frameworks, customer-facing assets, and AI best practices.
  • Design and deliver high-impact 1:many enablement programs to accelerate AI activation across regions.
  • Mentor and support peer advisors in complex customer engagements.
  • Build and sustain a strong cross-functional network across sales, consulting, CSP/CSM, product, and engineering teams.
  • Drive measurable increases in AI feature activation and AI unit consumption.
  • Identify expansion opportunities through platform use case discovery.
  • Provide feedback loops to product and strategy teams based on field insights.
