Senior BSA Analyst
About The Position
East West Bank is seeking a Senior BSA Analyst. The primary function is to complete SAR investigations, SAR filings, and conduct periodic EDD reviews of the bank's high-risk customers. The role involves completing FIU reviews of the Bank's customers that may have potentially suspicious or unusual activity, performing research, analysis, and investigation, reviewing and completing SAR forms, and escalating suspicious activity findings to management. The analyst will be responsible for understanding the bank's services, customers, and geographical locations to conduct effective research and investigation of accounts. Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience required
- 5 years in banking, operations, BSA compliance regulations including filing SARs
- Familiar with BSA/AML relevant law and regulations both in US and China.
- Well organized, critical thinking and ability to prioritize workload and use sound judgement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, creative thinker, internet savvy
- Strong reasoning and analytical skills
Responsibilities
