About The Position

Parsons is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join their North Carolina team to support a growing portfolio of major area projects. This role involves performing conventional and complex bridge engineering tasks, providing technical guidance to CAD designers and junior engineers, and fostering a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. The position is part of the Critical Infrastructure team, which focuses on designing and delivering critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities worldwide.

Requirements

8 years or more of related work experience with bridge engineering design
BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis is required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Microstation or AutoCAD
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software

Nice To Haves

MS in Structural Engineering is desirable
PE licensure is highly preferred

Responsibilities

Perform conventional and moderately complex bridge engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate-size project.
Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.

Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients and other stakeholders.
