About The Position

SCANA Energy is seeking a Brand Activation Senior Specialist to enhance customer sentiment and influence consideration and conversion within the Georgia natural gas market. This role aims to improve customer retention and loyalty. Reporting to the Director, Marketing Strategy & Growth, the specialist will collaborate with agencies on events, partnerships, and customer initiatives, track the impact of these activities on business goals, and identify new partnership opportunities. The role involves coordinating asset delivery, managing event logistics, acting as a brand ambassador, and maintaining event calendars and documentation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 7 years’ experience in marketing, events, customer engagement or PR.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary liaison between SCANA Energy and brand activation agency for strategy development and execution on events, partnerships, and customer-focused initiatives.
  • Understand, track, and articulate how spend on partnerships and activations supports strategic business goals, including brand awareness and customer acquisitions.
  • Curate appropriate partnerships and associated activations (sports, community, etc.) based on business goals.
  • Maximize sponsorship assets to drive prospect contact information collection for lead conversion.
  • Research, identify, and propose potential new partnership opportunities aligned with SCANA Energy brand pillars.
  • Ensure partners meet or exceed contractual obligations for marketing and activation goals.
  • Coordinate delivery of assets between agency and sponsorship partners, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Serve as SCANA Energy point of contact for activation events, coordinating logistics for in-person and virtual events, including vendor management and promotional material distribution.
  • Act as a brand ambassador to represent SCANA Energy at local events.
  • Capture engaging moments from events for social media amplification.
  • Maintain a calendar of events.
  • Organize and manage timelines and resources to ensure events run smoothly.
  • Maintain documentation regarding current assets, added value, and contractual status.
  • Oversee administrative functions.
