About The Position
As a Senior Branch Member Account Specialist (Sr BMAS), you'll help members achieve their financial goals by opening accounts, supporting lending needs, resolving concerns, and building meaningful relationships. We're seeking a bilingual Spanish-speaking professional to support the diverse communities of Reading, Shillington, West Lawn, Muhlenberg, Exeter, and surrounding Berks County areas. Requirements
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is required. A bilingual premium is offered to qualified employees who successfully complete the required language proficiency assessment.
- High school diploma and 1-3 years of related experience; alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Ability to obtain a notary license within one year of accepting the role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree preferred.
- Two to four years’ experience in customer service, retail, banking or financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted member relationships through thoughtful, personalized service and meaningful financial conversations.
- Open and manage consumer, business, and IRA accounts, and support consumer loan applications, excluding mortgages.
- Listen to members, resolve concerns, and recommend relevant solutions that support their financial goals.
- Support branch operations, including teller and Member Service Representative coverage, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Learn and grow in a supportive branch environment that allows for hands-on training and more one-on-one member interactions.
- Use your Spanish-language skills to help members feel understood, supported, and confident in their financial decisions.
- Obtain a notary license within one year; training is provided.
