As a Senior Branch Member Account Specialist, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for members visiting our branch. You’ll help with new accounts, answer questions, resolve concerns, support consumer loan applications, and guide members to products and services that fit their needs. This is a hands-on, people-focused role for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced branch environment and enjoys making a difference for members every day.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus 1-3 years of experience in customer service, retail, banking, or another people-focused environment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
  • Willingness to obtain a notary license within 1 year of accepting the role.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a service-first mindset.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • A passing verbal assessment of language proficiency will be required during the onboarding process.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in customer service, retail, banking, financial services, or another role focused on building relationships and solving problems.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome members and serve as a go-to resource for account questions, updates, and escalations.
  • Open new business, consumer, and IRA accounts while helping members understand their options.
  • Resolve account concerns, share general credit union information, and support consumer loan applications (excluding mortgage lending).
  • Step in to support branch operations, including member service representative activities, as needed.
  • Provide notary support after obtaining your notary license.
  • Build strong member relationships by identifying helpful products and services based on individual needs.
