About The Position

This role is for a Senior Bowling Mechanic & Facility Manager at Lucky Strike Entertainment. The manager will oversee a team of mechanics responsible for the operation and maintenance of bowling center equipment, including pinsetters, pinspotters, and automatic scoring machines. The position involves managing day-to-day technical operations, recruiting, hiring, training, and scheduling mechanics, ensuring compliance with safety regulations (like OSHA), monitoring equipment for repairs, and maintaining building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. The role also includes assisting with budgeting for repairs and upgrades, obtaining bids for maintenance, and suggesting improvements to reduce environmental impact and costs. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Requirements

5+ Years of Bowling Mechanic Experience
Solid Communication Skills
Strong Team Player
Staff Supervision
An ability to walk, bend, and stand for periods of time and lift objects as necessary

Responsibilities

Manage the bowling center's day-to-day technical operations to ensure efficiency.
Recruit, hire, train, and schedule B- and C-Mechanics, supervising them daily.
Provide training on machine operation, safety procedures, building maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
Ensure compliance with laws and policies, including OSHA safety practices.
Monitor and maintain machine stop records to identify repair needs.
Schedule routine maintenance for HVAC, roof, plumbing, electrical, and life/safety systems.
Assist in planning and budgeting for center repairs and upgrades.
Obtain bids for routine and emergency repairs/maintenance.
Suggest improvements to equipment to reduce environmental impact and cost.
Be available to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, and extended workdays.
