About The Position

Performs senior functions relating to coordinating and leading the Boiler Shop for various assignments throughout the facility. This role involves performing senior functions relating to Boiler operations and Plant Operations for various assignments throughout the facility. The technician will review automated control system inputs, outputs, and control loops to assure functionality, and will review and update alarms and alarm logs to ensure effective operation. Coordination and collaboration with other staff are essential to ensure departmental outcomes are achieved. Training of staff on reading and responding to graphic screens and alarms, as well as training mechanics on proper low voltage wiring and troubleshooting techniques, is also a key responsibility. The technician will assist management in stocking shop materials and maintaining a safe working environment, and will report major repairs to management. All responsibilities noted are considered essential functions of the job.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
