About The Position

Design, develop, and maintain BMC software solutions for Axiado products, including sensor monitoring and event-log WebUI functionality. Implement firmware functions that communicate with peripherals over SPI, I2C, UART, and other interfaces according to protocol specifications and chipset datasheets. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, reliable BMC software. Develop and maintain design specifications, user manuals, and release notes.

Requirements

• BMC product or stack software solution experience.
• Good understanding of server power management via BMC.
• At least 5 years of experience in C++ coding for Linux applications, including well-designed concepts and code-tracing skills.
• Hardware debugging skills.
• Solid knowledge of low-level protocols, including I2C, PMBUS, SPI, UART, JTAG, and GPIO.
• Good understanding of BMC IPMI 2.0, including IPMI Messaging, SDR, SEL, FRU, SOL, IPMB, LAN, KCS, event log, PEF, ME, NM, and PECI.
• Experience working on MCTP and PLDM.
• Experience porting BMC to multiple hardware platforms.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AMI SPX/OneTree products.
• Experience working on a DCSCM card.
