About The Position

Global Settlement is building the future of digital settlement — an institutional-grade blockchain network that bridges traditional banking and digital markets through stablecoins, commodities, FX, and RWAs. The Role We're hiring a Senior Blockchain Developer for our blockchain infrastructure team. This is a hands-on, full-time engineering role focused on building and scaling our core chain architecture — node infrastructure, consensus mechanisms, cross-chain systems, and protocol-level design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in blockchain development.
• Deep hands-on experience with node infrastructure, consensus algorithms, and protocol-level system design.
• Strong proficiency in one or more of Rust, Go, Solidity, Java, or Python.
• Working knowledge of platforms such as Ethereum, Cosmos, Hyperledger, or comparable L1/L2 networks.
• Solid understanding of cryptographic primitives, key management, and on-chain security.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• A track record of shipping production blockchain infrastructure — not just smart contracts.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with stablecoin systems, CBDC infrastructure, or RWA tokenization.
• Familiarity with cross-chain protocols.
• Background in financial services, payments, or regulated settlement systems.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in digital asset markets.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain blockchain node infrastructure and settlement protocol architecture.
• Implement and optimize consensus mechanisms (PoA, PoS, BFT variants) for enterprise-grade performance and finality.
• Architect cross-chain communication and bridging systems for multi-network interoperability.
• Collaborate with smart contract and application teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive security, scalability, and reliability across all chain-level systems.
• Lead technical research on emerging protocols and L1/L2 architectures.
• Mentor developers, own architecture documentation and RFCs, and establish best practices through code reviews.
