The analyst will analyze protein structure, data collections, and high throughput screening results using sophisticated bioinformatics software to perform structure-activity analyses and generate predictive correlations. Additionally, the role requires applying a broad range of molecular modeling tools to formulate novel bioactivity hypotheses and design stereospecific molecular structures as candidates for biological in-vitro and cellular probes, working both independently and in collaboration with synthetic chemists. The position may also involve hiring, supervising, and evaluating a small staff.

Requirements

• A master's degree in biology, biostatistics, chemistry, biochemistry, bioinformatics or related science or IT-based discipline.
• Two years of bioinformatics and/or computational chemistry experience.
