About The Position

In Human to Human Hub, we are looking for Carlos E. Sandoval P.A., a law firm in the United States, a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Bilingual Paralegal to join their team and contribute to strengthening their legal operations. The main objective of this role is to manage and coordinate legal cases with high standards of accuracy, ensuring compliance with deadlines, correct preparation of documentation, and effective follow-up of each process. We are looking for someone who combines legal judgment, organizational capacity, and operational leadership to support the legal team, optimize case management, and ensure a professional and reliable experience for the firm's clients.

Requirements

  • Professional degree in administrative or related fields. Complementary training in legal assistance, paralegal, or legal process management will be valued.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of legal experience in the United States, including court, family, business, and immigration processes.
  • 100% bilingual English level (oral and written), with the ability to draft legal documents and maintain professional communications in legal contexts.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in team supervision and leadership.
  • Experience in the use of case management systems and Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of specialized software such as Docketwise is desirable.
  • Availability to perform the role remotely from Colombia or in person in Hollywood, Florida (USA).
  • Knowledge in the preparation, review, and submission of documentation to competent authorities in the United States, including immigration, court, family, and business processes.
  • Comprehensive management of physical and electronic files, ensuring document control, compliance with deadlines, and procedural follow-up.
  • Experience in the use of case management systems for updating, tracking, and controlling legal processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) for legal document preparation, reports, and communication management.
  • Ability to work in remote environments using collaborative platforms and digital internal coordination tools.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality standards, handling of sensitive information, and compliance with ethical guidelines of legal practice.
  • Experience in coordinating signatures, notarizations, and formal submission of legal documentation.
  • Advanced command of the English language for managing legal processes, drafting formal communications, and direct attention to clients and external entities.
  • Ability to hold technical and professional conversations in legal contexts.

  • Assign tasks and priorities within the team, promoting organization, efficiency, and clarity in internal processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance in resolving complex cases or operational situations in the legal area.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment based on responsibility, commitment, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain direct and professional communication with clients, lawyers, government agencies, and third parties involved in legal processes.
  • Coordinate signatures, notarizations, and delivery of legal documentation, ensuring compliance with deadlines and formal requirements.
  • Support the preparation of internal reports on case status and team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality guidelines in all processes.
  • Participate in internal audits and document verification processes when required.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the legal area's workflows, proposing adjustments that optimize time and quality.
  • Conduct basic research on applicable regulations and legal procedures, supporting the correct structuring of cases.
  • Keep information updated in case management systems, ensuring integrity and traceability of processes.
  • Support the standardization of procedures and best practices in the legal area, promoting efficiency and error reduction.
  • Participate in internal training processes and knowledge transfer to the team, strengthening the department's technical development.
