About The Position
RCAP Leasing is a subsidiary of RBC that offers leasing services for various sectors and equipment suppliers. As a Senior Bilingual Onboarding Officer, you work as part of a team to establish and maintain a control infrastructure to mitigate risk to RBC and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations and RBC policies.

Responsibilities
- Administration of compliance on-boarding and monitoring functions including Know Your Client (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (CDD) for new and existing clients
- Assist in the maintenance of documentation, appropriate recordkeeping, and due diligence in accordance with RBC and regulatory requirements
- Execute routine tasks such as service requests, transactions, client enquiries etc. within relevant service level agreements
- Coordinate with internal partners such as Front, Middle and Back Office staff to obtain required information and applicable documentation related to client on-boarding and KYC production and ensure adequate due diligence process is carried out for client accounts and documentation reviews
- Identify data anomalies and red flags for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions violations, and escalate for second level review
- Assist Onboarding Manager on reportable events, breaches and other instances of non-compliance as well as remedial action steps related to the Company’s compliance requirements
- Stay up-to-date with knowledge of compliance and risk management matters
- Identifying and resolve process gaps and provide advice and proactive support to keep business partners informed on issues relating to risk, control, and compliance
