The newly created Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit is part of SAP Product Engineering with responsibility across the relevant Sovereign Cloud portfolio of SAP. Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations is collaborating closely with all board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables. Join our dynamic team as we embark on a mission to unify and enhance SAP Sovereign Cloud offerings, revolutionizing the end-to-end process for the Public Sector and regulated industries. The newly formed Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit, a pivotal part of SAP Product Engineering, is entrusted with overseeing SAP's Sovereign Cloud portfolio. Our mission is to collaborate seamlessly with all board areas, fostering harmonization, scalability, and transparency in our offerings. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product and tool owners, program managers, developers, security experts, architects, and global security colleagues to define and implement the infrastructure toolset essential for SAP Sovereign Cloud operations. Your tasks will encompass proof of concepts (POCs) and productive tool development and integration, providing you with hands-on experience in various DevOps tasks.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of technical professional experience
- Proficiency in technologies such as Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong knowledge of public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, and Azure) and their product offerings.
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience containerizing VM-based workloads
- Previous experience in enterprise-level team.
- Experience with scripting languages.
- Openness to learning new methods and technologies
- Experience with Project Management or collaboration tools (ex. Jira, Trello, Notion etc.)
- Experience in SAP Product Offerings, SAP Basis knowledge is imperative.
- Specifically in-depth experience with S/4HANA, S/4HANA PCE and IBP
- Strong decision-making skills and a can-do attitude.
- Methodological and conceptual skills paired with analytical thinking.
- Persistent, self-starter, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Due to the potentially classified nature of our work, your willingness is required to subject yourself to a governmental security clearance process
- 6+ years of professional experience in Cloud Delivery-related fields and technologies.
- 5+ years of cloud automation experience.
