About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Java Developer/Lead for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role involves developing, enhancing, debugging, and testing software applications that support business units and supporting functions. The ideal candidate will provide technical direction, contribute to system architecture for individual initiatives, and serve as a fully seasoned technical resource.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in a Developer/Lead capacity
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis
- Java/J2EE
- Kafka
- Oracle
- Solid computer programming experience (Java, SQL, Spring, Springboot, Webservices (REST and SOAP) & HTML)
- Transaction knowledge, JaxB, JMS, Jdbc, WebLogic, JBOSS, MQ, and good handle on core java (streams / files / collections)
- Experience in design and development of significant components
- Understanding of architecture and bank standards

Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions, software, hardware, technologies and tools
- Participate in or support delivery of designs and implementations
- Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
- Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource
- Assist with offshore / onshore task co-ordination
- Perform code reviews
- Perform deployment activities
