About The Position

Software Mind is seeking a Senior Backend Integration Developer with a strong focus on Java to join a project for a gaming company. This company aims to reform the national gaming system by providing games responsibly, mitigating gambling-related risks, and ensuring player protection while preventing fraud. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for an Aggregation Platform that facilitates integrations between game providers and operators. The developer will build and enhance API-first solutions for scalable, high-performance, and business-critical systems, ensuring secure, maintainable, and high-quality code. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, contribution to CI/CD pipelines, and participation in architectural discussions are key aspects of this position. The role supports Agile development processes and technical decision-making.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in backend software development with a strong focus on API-first solutions.
5+ years of experience building and maintaining high-availability, business-critical applications.
Strong proficiency in Java and experience developing clean, secure, and high-performance code.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration (CI), automated deployments, and test automation.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Strong communication skills with English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).
Experience designing scalable software architectures.
Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and software quality.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Aggregation Platform, enabling seamless integrations between game providers and operators.
Build and enhance API-first solutions that support scalable, high-performance, and business-critical systems.
Develop secure, maintainable, and high-quality code while following engineering best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design integration solutions and improve platform architecture.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and overall DevOps practices.
Participate in architectural discussions and continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
Support Agile development processes and contribute to technical decision-making across the team.
