About The Position

Flyer One Ventures is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for its portfolio company, memoryOS. memoryOS is a leading app focused on improving memory and focus by merging proven learning techniques with gamified e-learning and patented virtual mind palace technology. Co-founded by a World Memory Champion, memoryOS is a remote team of over 30 professionals dedicated to solving the forgetting curve problem. The app has been featured on TechCrunch and recognized by Google Brands Accelerator.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer
• Strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS
• Deep understanding of scalable architecture and system design
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and performance optimization
• Experience in technical design and application architecture (building applications from scratch to production)
• Excellent analytical and ownership skills
• Creative problem-solving mindset with high ethical standards
• Proactive, reliable, and committed to continuous self-development
• Proficiency in English (B2 level)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GCP and CI/CD configuration
• Experience with React

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend architecture using Node.js, NestJS, Redis, TypeORM, and PostgreSQL
• Maintain high standards in terms of performance, scalability, and security
• Maintain high code quality in adherence to company standards and best practices
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and product discussions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Collaborate with developers, QA, designers, and Product Owners to ensure successful product delivery
