Senior Backend Engineer
About The Position
Yendo is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. The company's vision is to empower everyday people to build a stronger financial future by using AI to unlock vehicle equity for those traditionally excluded from mainstream financial offerings. Yendo Credit Cards offer high limits and standard rates, helping customers build their credit score without hidden fees or overdraft charges. The engineering team participates in the product development cycle from start to finish, contributing to customer experience, hiring standards, and engineering practices. The role requires resiliency and a willingness to experiment and find solutions for customer problems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with backend or full stack solutions (e.g., Go (Preferred), TypeScript, Java, Python, or Ruby)
- Self-starter and able to work independently.
- Passionate about financial inclusion and mobility.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Postgres, Redis, and AWS
- Experience in fintech, payments, processing, card networks, banking, or early stage startup
Responsibilities
