About The Position

Software Mind is seeking a Senior Back-end Software Engineer with Java experience to join a project for a gaming company. This company aims to reform the national gaming system by providing games responsibly, mitigating gambling-related risks, and ensuring player protection while preventing fraud. The Multiplayer Platform is post-MVP and approaching production release. The engineer will focus on finalizing features, improving system performance, and contributing to ongoing product development, enhancements, and maintenance to ensure scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, and Git.
• Experience with Gradle and Mermaid, or a strong willingness to quickly learn and adopt these tools.
• Proactive and self-driven mindset.
• Strong communication skills.
• Curious, problem-solving attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Go and Redis.
• Exposure to infrastructure-related technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab (understanding from an infrastructure perspective is a plus).

• Focus on completing the remaining features of the Multiplayer Platform.
• Improve system performance to meet production standards.
• Contribute to ongoing product development, enhancements, and maintenance post-initial customer delivery.
