About The Position

Software Mind is seeking a Senior Back-end Software Engineer with a focus on Java and Infrastructure to join a project for a gaming company. This company aims to reform the national gaming system by providing games responsibly, mitigating gambling risks, and ensuring player protection while preventing fraud. The Multiplayer Platform is post-MVP and approaching production release. The engineer will be responsible for finalizing features, optimizing system performance, and preparing the platform for its initial customer release, focusing on reliability, scalability, and system quality. Post-release, the role involves ongoing product development, improvements, and maintenance.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, and Git.
Solid understanding of infrastructure concepts.
Experience with tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab.
Experience with Gradle and Mermaid, or a strong willingness to quickly learn and adopt these tools.
Proactive, self-driven mindset.
Strong communication skills.
Curious, problem-solving attitude.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Go and Redis, or willingness to learn.
