As a Senior Backend Engineer at Ajaib, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying elegant software solutions that impact millions of investors. You will collaborate with product and business leaders to provide solution guidance, mentor fellow engineers, and contribute to our startup engineering culture with ideas and suggestions. Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years of software development experience, preferably in distributed systems or full-stack architecture.
Highly proficient in one or more programming languages, including Java, C, Go, or Python.
Solid knowledge of Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, and MySQL.
Tuning and query optimization is a plus.
Skilled practitioner of deployments onto cloud GCP and on-premise environments.
Experience with FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol is a bonus.
Able to work individually with limited guidance, responsible for their work, and self-motivated.
Passionate about technology and software development.
Owns an innate desire to never stop learning.

Nice To Haves

Tuning and query optimization is a plus.
