About The Position

We're looking for a Senior Back-End Developer with expertise in the Backbase digital banking platform and the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. We're seeking a consultative, client-facing developer who can design, build, integrate, and extend enterprise banking solutions using Backbase and .NET technologies. You'll work closely with clients, product teams, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and modern digital banking experiences.

Requirements

• Experience integrating, extending, and implementing the Backbase digital banking platform.
• Strong experience designing and developing enterprise-grade applications using .NET and C#.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or agency environments and comfortable interacting directly with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Passion for technology and solving complex business challenges.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with SOAP and REST integrations, JSON, XML, and modern API design practices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
• Experience writing automated unit and integration tests using frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Strong knowledge of Git and modern source control workflows.
• Experience developing large-scale, enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and systems handling sensitive customer data.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in financial services, fintech, banking, or professional services environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience working within Agile teams using Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Azure cloud-native services.
• Experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Experience with OpenShift.
• Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring developers.
• Banking or digital banking domain expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, integrate, and extend enterprise banking solutions using Backbase and .NET technologies.
• Work closely with clients, product teams, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and modern digital banking experiences.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and architecture.
• Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Designers, Architects, and Engineers.
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code.
• Mentor other developers.
• Participate in peer code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Contribute positively to team success within an Agile framework.
