About The Position

CGI is seeking a Senior Azure Software Developer to join our engineering team and build the cloud-native platform that powers next-generation enterprise SaaS and AI solutions. As one of the world's largest independent IT and business consulting services firms, CGI offers the opportunity to work with leading-edge cloud technologies while delivering innovative solutions for global clients. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement secure, scalable Azure-based applications and infrastructure that serve as the foundation for enterprise B2B SaaS products. Working closely with software, AI, and platform engineering teams, you will help deliver highly available, cloud-native solutions with a focus on automation, security, and operational excellence. This position can be performed in the Tri-State area where CGI has an office.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years focused on Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and infrastructure.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure Foundry preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong background designing CI/CD pipelines and implementing deployment automation.
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and enterprise authentication patterns.
  • Experience designing and supporting distributed systems in production environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience deploying cloud infrastructure within regulated industries such as Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Healthcare, or Pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience supporting AI/ML workloads, including model serving, GPU scheduling, and vector database hosting.
  • Experience developing enterprise B2B SaaS applications comparable in complexity to Harvey AI, Linear AI, or similar AI-native SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy secure, scalable cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure (Azure Foundry preferred) using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Architect multi-tenant infrastructure, including tenant isolation, provisioning, and resource scaling.
  • Design and implement authentication and authorization solutions using SSO, OAuth, and role-based access control (RBAC) across multi-tenant environments.
  • Design distributed systems architecture, including service-to-service communication, load balancing, resiliency, and fault tolerance.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC), deployment pipelines, and release automation.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for production cloud workloads.
  • Partner with Software Engineering and AI Engineering teams to ensure the platform supports application hosting and AI model serving requirements.
  • Apply cloud security best practices and governance standards, particularly within regulated enterprise environments.
