Senior Azure Data / ETL Test Engineer
About The Position
The Senior Azure Data / ETL Test Engineer will be responsible for Big Data Testing, Cloud Azure Testing, and ETL Testing. This role requires extensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience in the end-to-end process of software development. The engineer will be involved in designing complex SQL queries, writing test plans and test cases, and executing test cases based on functional and software specifications. A good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and Azure pipelines for data validation is also necessary. The role involves working in an onsite-offshore team environment and requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements
- 10 Years Overall Experience with 7 Years in Big Data, ETL Testing, and Cloud Testing.
- Experience as Tester in Big Data Testing, Cloud Azure Testing and ETL Testing.
- Experience in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage Containers.
- Extensive Knowledge in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of Development/Testing applications.
- Strong experience in the end-to-end process of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Expertise Writing Test Plan & Test Cases.
- Involved in designing Complex SQL queries based on the transformation rules.
- Hands on experience in designing Test Scenarios, Test cases & execution of Test Cases, based on functional/ Software specifications.
- Good understanding on Data Warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge on Azure pipelines and data validations.
