Senior Azure Architect
About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Architect to help design and build an enterprise-scale Internal Developer Platform that eliminates infrastructure friction and enables application teams to deploy secure, scalable, and production-ready workloads with speed and consistency. This role will be instrumental in defining cloud architecture standards, platform engineering patterns, and governance frameworks that balance developer agility with security, compliance, operational excellence, and cost management. The ideal candidate will possess deep Azure expertise, strong infrastructure architecture experience, and the ability to bridge infrastructure operations with developer experience.

Responsibilities
- Design and architect standardized Azure cloud solutions for enterprise-scale platforms.
- Develop scalable and secure architecture patterns that support production-ready application deployments.
- Define and implement cloud governance, security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Establish Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks and deployment standards using Terraform.
- Design and optimize advanced data architecture patterns and cloud-native solutions.
- Lead network architecture and engineering efforts across Azure environments.
- Drive production operations best practices, reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with platform engineering, infrastructure, security, and application development teams.
- Create reusable cloud architecture blueprints, standards, and reference implementations.
- Ensure cloud environments align with enterprise security, identity, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Support platform scalability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency initiatives.
- Provide architectural guidance for developer experience and internal platform modernization efforts.
- Evaluate emerging Azure technologies and recommend best practices for adoption.
