Senior Aviation Electrical Engineer
About The Position
RS&H is seeking a Senior Airfield Electrical Engineer to join our Aviation Practice. The role involves designing and managing a wide variety of electrical projects at airports, with a focus on innovative design and technical excellence. Associates in this role will have opportunities for career advancement and professional development, potentially moving into Project Manager or Project Engineer roles. The position involves leading the preparation of design drawings for airfield lighting systems, FAA navigational aid systems, and communication systems, as well as coordinating with other engineers for specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering design and consulting experience in the aviation industry
- Experience working with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Registered PE license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of design drawings for airfield lighting systems, FAA navigational aid systems, and communication systems.
