This role collaborates with systems teams to ensure software and hardware designs are delivered on time, with responsibilities spanning requirements development and documentation, test and validation support, and procurement support activities. The Senior Autonomous Systems Integration Engineer will work closely with Autonomy Systems integration engineers to ensure product architecture requirements are fulfilled. They will partner with Technical Program Managers and Application Architects to ensure program requirements are met (time, cost, and quality). This role ensures base machine software changes are delivered on time for command-for-hauling releases, supporting both New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) solutions depending on program state. They will also support field data collection kit activities, including design support, procurement, and shipping to site. The role involves documenting architecture specifications, software design descriptions, verification plans, test cases, operating procedures, and safety procedures. Additionally, the engineer will assist in the verification and validation process, including supporting and troubleshooting hardware-in-the-loop and proving ground test and development activities, and participate in the design and development of application software and algorithms for robotic platforms.
