Senior Automotive Technician - Smog Repair Is A Plus
About The Position
At AAA, Team Members strive to deliver excellent service and help Members overcome roadblocks. This role performs approved vehicle repairs in accordance with industry standards and customer requests, while ensuring repairs are safe and accurate. The technician works with managers and other technicians, verifies parts orders, completes digital inspections, maintains a safe and clean work area, and keeps current with industry trends and repair procedures through training. Smog repair experience is a plus. The position requires at least five years of automobile technician experience and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. ASE Master Certification and L1 certification are preferred. The work involves physical activity including standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, reaching, lifting, and climbing ladders, as well as exposure to loud noises.
Requirements
- At least five years’ experience as an automobile technician.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, push, reach, lift, and climb ladders.
- Ability to work with exposure to loud noises.

Responsibilities
- Perform approved repairs on vehicles.
- Follow industry standards and complete repairs as requested by customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow safety regulations, and report unsafe conditions.
- Keep up to date on industry trends and repair procedures, and attend training.
- Verify parts orders, perform digital inspections, and communicate with managers and technicians.
- Ensure the safety and accuracy of repairs.
