Senior Automation QA Engineer with Playwright
About The Position
The Senior Automation QA Engineer will participate in test planning to determine which test cases to automate and which ones to execute for each project/release. This role involves managing the day-to-day automation repository and the CI environment, ensuring test scripts run without error in the target environment with support from QA Management. The position focuses on the development and maintenance of automation frameworks for API and UI testing, as well as the development of Test Plans. A key responsibility is the in-sprint automation of test cases and determining automation candidates for each release based on developed selection criteria. The role also includes converting requirements, user stories, design documents, and manual test cases into automation scripts, ensuring compliance with development methodology and framework. Additionally, the engineer will develop and maintain various test types (Sanity, Smoke, System, E2E, Regression), perform routine maintenance of existing test scripts, and regularly collect metrics to track time and cost savings. Daily progress reports and escalation of testing or automation issues are also part of the role.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience.
- At least 3 years of onsite experience with Playwright.
Responsibilities
