About The Position

Join NEC Australia and take ownership of our enterprise automation capability. You'll lead the strategy, architecture and delivery of automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Python and PowerShell, helping transform operations, improve service quality and enable future AI-driven capabilities.

Requirements

• Strategic thinker and hands-on engineer with a passion for automation and technology transformation.
• 8+ years in automation, DevOps, enterprise IT infrastructure or managed services.
• 5+ years' experience with Ansible, AWX or Red Hat AAP.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale automation solutions across server, network, cloud, security and operational environments.
• Strong automation development skills in Python, PowerShell and REST APIs.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale automation and technology transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead NEC's enterprise automation strategy and roadmap.
• Own and govern the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Design and deliver automation across infrastructure, cloud, networks, security and ITSM.
• Develop scalable automation solutions using Ansible, Python and APIs.
• Drive automation governance, standards and best practices.
• Partner with technical and business leaders to identify and deliver automation opportunities.
