Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer (QA) to drive test automation strategy, design, and execution across our products. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building scalable automation frameworks, strong programming skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software in fast-paced, agile environments.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in QA with strong focus on test automation
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
  • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate
  • Strong understanding of test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, etc.)
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, etc.)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks
  • Build automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend services
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality across the SDLC
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive issues to closure
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for automation
  • Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and execution time
  • Participate in design reviews and provide inputs from a quality perspective
