About The Position

Tire Max Tire offers automotive repair and preventative maintenance, including alignments, brake repair, oil changes, battery service, shocks and struts, belts and hoses, and air conditioning. The Automotive Mechanic/Technician diagnoses and repairs customer vehicles accurately and efficiently, following MAP guidelines and dealership, manufacturer, and Tire Max Service standards. The role also helps ensure repairs are performed correctly by qualified technicians and that the service department maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. Compensation is up to $50 per flag hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

Prefer at least one unexpired ASE certification or equivalent experience or training.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.

At least one unexpired ASE certification.

Responsibilities

Diagnose vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications and experience.
Perform work outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order efficiently and accurately.
Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including the Store Manager, Service Consultants, and/or customers.
Recommend services needed to keep customers’ vehicles in running condition and document recommendations in the customer file.
Follow safety procedures and report concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
Maintain appropriate ASE certifications and renew certifications before they expire.
