About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Auto Claims Adjuster who will be responsible for managing auto claims, including property damage, liability inquiries, rental management, and other relevant coverages. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and an ability to ensure fair claims practices while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate contract language to discern coverage issues effectively.
• Develop claims files through accurate and timely investigation and loss analysis.
• Maintain a detailed file diary to facilitate swift resolution of claims.
• Establish and monitor accurate reserves for each claim.
• Identify and pursue recovery opportunities where applicable.
• Comply with all statutory and regulatory fair claims practices.
• Recognize and assess potential fraudulent claims.
• Manage relationships with outside vendors efficiently regarding their work product and associated expenses.
• Evaluate claim details critically and negotiate settlements effectively.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
• Act as a technical resource for less experienced adjusters on the team, providing guidance and support.
• Contribute to the achievement of team goals, objectives, and overall results.
• Assist with workload surges and catastrophe operations as needed, including potential overtime during designated events.
