About The Position

Blue & Co., LLC is a dynamic and innovative independent accounting firm that provides growth-committed entrepreneurial clients with accounting and consulting services across multiple industries. We are currently seeking an Audit Senior to join our Southern Indiana practice group. This role will focus on Agriculture clients but may gain exposure to other industries as well. Blue has a well-established Agriculture client base across Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois.

Requirements

4-6 years of Audit experience serving agriculture clients, including agriculture cooperative or grain elevator audits.
Technical focus on small to mid-size agricultural entities.
Ability to travel regularly, including overnight travel, to client locations.
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; demonstrate a high level of technical competence.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office products / applications.

Nice To Haves

CPA or working toward preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute all aspects of assurance engagements.
Prepare and review work papers and client deliverables.
Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
Provide risk assessments and recommend controls; prepare financial statements, management letters, and detailed reports on audit findings.
Staff development; foster teamwork, innovative thinking, and share knowledge.
