About The Position

A leading financial advisory and consulting firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Chicago-area team. This opportunity is suited to a finance or accounting professional with at least three years of experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, audit, or a related financial consulting environment. The role involves complex client engagements in financial analysis, transaction advisory, and financial modeling.

The position offers an opportunity to expand beyond traditional audit or due diligence work and gain broader exposure to sophisticated financial advisory and modeling engagements. Candidates from national or large public accounting and advisory firms are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Background in Transaction Advisory Services, Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence, Audit, Deal Advisory, or related financial consulting.
• Strong financial modeling skills.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex financial information and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• CPA or progress toward a CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, analyze, and maintain detailed financial models.
• Perform financial statement and transaction-related analysis.
• Support transaction advisory and financial due diligence engagements.
• Analyze historical and projected financial performance.
• Identify key financial trends, risks, and business drivers.
• Assist with Quality of Earnings and other transaction-related analyses.
• Work directly with senior team members and client management.
• Prepare clear, concise financial analyses and client deliverables.
• Manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
