About The Position

The Project Management Pathway is designed to build foundational leadership skills and execution excellence through hands-on experience supporting key initiatives across the enterprise. Participants rotate through different divisions, take on key assignments, and support long-term strategic projects that will influence the financial futures of our investors. This pathway offers a dynamic and evolving experience where participants develop core skills in project management, stakeholder management, and driving results through others. The Accelerated Career Development Program is a two-year immersive development program that provides skill advancement, mentorship, real-world experience, and targeted training to accelerate participants into project management, sales, or product specialist career pathways. These pathways have been intentionally and thoughtfully curated to align with Vanguard’s evolving business needs—ensuring we are building the capabilities required for today while preparing crew and leaders for what’s next. Each participant will rotate through different divisions, take on key assignments, support long-term strategic initiatives, and help shape the experience of our fifty million investors worldwide!

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; open to all majors, with a strong preference for candidates pursuing degrees in Business, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, or related fields
• Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor for effective interaction with internal crew, stakeholders, and management
• Foundational understanding of project management concepts with a proactive mindset toward problem solving, risk identification, and process improvement
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence leadership and cross-functional teams
• Adaptable, intellectually curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with the ability to analyze data, create executive-ready reporting, and communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders
