About The Position

The Senior Associate will be a leader within the Private Credit Fund Services business unit of State Street’s Alternative Investment Services Group. The role supports global Private Credit funds and affiliated entities through the preparation, analysis, and reporting of investment and fund performance data, along with accounting and administrative services for fund clients. The position is part of International Fund Services (IFS), also known as Alternative Investment Solutions, which provides fund accounting, fund administration, and risk services to hedge funds and private market funds. The role contributes to end-to-end services spanning front-, middle-, and back-office requirements. The Senior Associate also helps ensure compliance with legal documents and maintains working relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

Requirements

Fund accounting or public accounting experience.
Experience leading verbal and written communications with internal and external clients at senior levels.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently to meet client deliverables.

Responsibilities

Maintain the general ledger for various fund entities.
Prepare supporting work papers for financial statements, portfolio schedules, and capital account allocations.
Review monthly and quarterly investment and fund performance data.
Review and/or prepare capital calls, distributions, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare management, annual, and incentive fee calculations.
Prepare client correspondence.
Calculate waterfalls and capital account allocations.
Complete special projects as requested.
Ensure compliance with legal documents.
Maintain working relationships with client contacts, auditors, tax professionals, lawyers, and banking personnel.
