About The Position

Fanatics is hiring a Senior Associate for the VIP Strategic Initiatives team. This is a high-leverage seat for someone who wants to work at the intersection of sports, entertainment, and culture, and who thrives turning ambiguity into clear thinking and action. Working alongside the Director, Strategic Initiatives, you will drive company-wide priorities and VIP strategy. This is not a traditional strategy role. It is built for someone who wants to operate across functions, own processes end to end, and shape the VIP narrative for customers and internal stakeholders. Analytical horsepower and creative problem solving are the core of the job. VIP is one of the fastest-growing parts of the Fanatics platform, serving our highest-value customers. The work spans the full ecosystem, from acquisition and retention to loyalty and how VIP connects to growth across the wider business. The pace is fast and the standard is high, but the surface area is unusually broad for this stage of a career.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years in management consulting, investment banking, loyalty operations, or an early-stage startup
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to tailor communication style to the audience
  • Exceptional storytelling, building executive-ready slides and charts around a central narrative tied to business priorities
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience
  • Strong written and visual communication, with high standards for accuracy and clarity
  • A structured thinker who can take an ambiguous prompt to a clear, defensible answer
  • An early AI adopter who automates and accelerates work through AI and agentic workflows
  • High energy, low ego
  • Proven ability to collaborate across stakeholders with different backgrounds and skillsets
  • A creative problem solver who is comfortable with ambiguity and brings relentless drive to get things done

Responsibilities

  • Build the deliverables that drive VIP decisions and strategic priorities: executive decks, financial models, and ad hoc analysis
  • Translate messy inputs into clear, structured, insight-led narratives
  • Shape the models and dashboards that sharpen visibility into revenue, reinvestment, and customer trends. Work closely with technical teams to ensure analytics and reporting aligns to VIP strategy
  • Use AI and analytics tooling to automate and accelerate business processes
  • Support longer-horizon strategy work, from org and operating model design to GTM and customer communications
  • Take the initiative on unstructured problems and emerging opportunities rather than waiting to be told what to do
  • Collaborate across VIP, Loyalty, and the broader Fanatics organization
