About The Position

Senior Associates in Andersen’s Valuation practice serve on client service teams and apply technical valuation knowledge to closely held companies, intangible assets, debt instruments, and other assets. Valuations support tax and financial statement reporting, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and other purposes. The role includes formal valuation training, on-the-job training, direct feedback from industry leaders, and opportunities to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of valuation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or a relevant advanced degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Desire to obtain an advanced credential such as ASA, CFA, or ABV.
• Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficient use of technology.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire; candidates requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another field that provides a strong background for qualitative and quantitative reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Perform company, industry, and market research to identify client solutions.
• Produce spreadsheet models.
• Perform financial analysis.
• Write reports.
• Manage data inventory.
• Assist in project management.
• Supervise, train, and mentor Associates and Interns.
