Senior Associate, Sustainability Reporting & Governance, Controllers
About The Position
Zoetis is seeking a Senior Associate of Sustainability Reporting & Governance within its Finance-Controllers function. This newly created role focuses on regulated sustainability reporting and supports mandatory and voluntary sustainability reporting, regulatory compliance, and business units implementing Zoetis' Driven to Care Sustainability Strategy. The role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Sustainability Reporting and Governance. It collaborates with Finance functions, including External Reporting, Technical Accounting, and Internal Audit, as well as Corporate Sustainability, Legal, Global Manufacturing & Supply, Zoetis Technology & Digital, Human Resources, and other teams. The position helps ensure timely, accurate sustainability disclosures through standardized and controlled processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of progressive accounting, finance, and/or sustainability reporting experience.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, corporate governance, internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other statutory requirements.
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks, regulations, and standards, including CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ISSB, TCFD, and SASB.
- Knowledge of global sustainability reporting regulations and the data landscape.
- Strong project management skills and experience working on cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to create effective presentations tailored to mid- and executive-level meetings.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Teams.

Responsibilities
- Monitor global sustainability regulatory reporting requirements, assess their applicability and impact, and track disclosure trends to support compliance activities.
- Lead project management for Zoetis' regulated sustainability reporting activities and coordinate implementation across Finance, Corporate Sustainability, Legal, Global Manufacturing & Supply, Human Resources, and other functions.
- Coordinate key components of the external assurance process for regulated sustainability reporting and maintain relationships with external auditors.
- Lead process walkthroughs supporting the development of sustainability technical accounting policies and a control framework.
- Develop educational content and present to management and stakeholders about mandatory sustainability disclosures and related regulatory implications.
- Represent the Controllers function on sustainability matters in company initiatives and internal committees.
- Develop, document, and execute the sustainability disclosure control program.
- Draft sustainability regulatory disclosures, collect data and disclosures from data owners, and manage supporting documentation.
