About The Position

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international organization that provides medical care to the people who need it most. The organization cares for people affected by conflict, disease outbreaks, disasters, and social exclusion in more than 70 countries. MSF offers medical humanitarian assistance solely based on need, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or politics. Our international project teams include medical, logistical, and administrative staff, most of them hired locally and working with their own communities. Our actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of independence, impartiality, and neutrality. We also bear witness and speak out about the experiences of our colleagues and patients. MSF USA is one of 24 sections supporting the global movement, primarily through staff recruitment, fundraising, advocacy, and communications. We welcome candidates who bring a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences to join us in working toward MSF’s social mission. ROLE OVERVIEW The Senior Associate, Streaming & Community Fundraising is a new role within Doctors Without Borders' Integrated Channel Marketing team, focused on accelerating one of MSF-USA's most exciting and high-potential fundraising areas: livestream, gaming, and creator-led community fundraising. Doctors Without Borders has strong momentum and credibility in this space, and this role exists to build on those successes, scale what is working, and contribute to the next phase of growth. The Senior Associate manages the execution of streaming fundraising initiatives across gaming campaigns, livestream events, and creator activations. This role contributes to a multi-year streaming fundraising roadmap and partners with senior colleagues to scale the program. The role builds engagement with niche creator communities to explore mainstream opportunities with larger creators and audiences, achieving more scalable fundraising outcomes, including during emergency response moments. This role contributes to approximately 20 percent year-over-year revenue growth in streaming fundraising, including both flagship and non-flagship initiatives. This is a hands-on role for a collaborative team player with deep expertise in livestream fundraising. Reporting to the Associate Director of Community Fundraising, the Senior Associate collaborates with colleagues across the organization, from peer-to-peer and digital marketing teams to tech and donor relationship managers, to ensure streaming efforts are integrated into broader supporter journeys and fundraising strategy.
