About The Position

The Senior Associate, Strategic Initiatives is a high-impact, high-visibility role on GoodLeap's Strategy & Corporate Development team, based in our West Palm Beach office. Operating at the intersection of strategy, corporate development, finance, and fintech innovation, this individual will help shape the enterprise agenda across GoodLeap's point-of-sale lending platform, payments solutions, capital markets, and sustainable home solutions ecosystem. The Senior Associate will structure and solve ambiguous, high-stakes business problems using hypothesis-driven approaches, build rigorous analyses and financial models, and translate insights into crisp, executive-ready recommendations delivered directly to the C-Suite. Recommendations are only the starting point: this role supports execution end-to-end — converting strategy into actionable implementation plans, driving initiatives through delivery, and measuring realized value against the business case. The role offers exceptional senior leadership exposure, a steep professional development curve, and the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of former consultants, bankers, and operators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Analytics, or a related field required
  • 3–5 years of experience in strategy consulting (e.g., MBB, Accenture, or Big Four), investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or a high-growth fintech
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving skills; able to break down ambiguous problems, form hypotheses, and drive to actionable answers with incomplete information
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical toolkit; expert in Excel and PowerPoint, with proficiency in Artificial Intelligence (e.g., Claude) for analysis, modeling, and deliverable development (SQL, Tableau/Power BI a plus)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication; able to craft clear, compelling executive narratives and present with confidence and poise to C-Suite audiences
  • Working knowledge of fintech and lending fundamentals — unit economics, credit performance, capital markets, and point-of-sale finance — or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly
  • High ownership, intellectual curiosity, and bias for action; thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve
  • Low-ego, collaborative teammate who raises the bar of a talented Strategy & Corporate Development team
  • Discretion and sound judgment handling confidential corporate, financial, and M&A information
