Responsibilities

  • Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles to software development for targeted platforms.
  • Work with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and evaluate interfaces and applications across hardware, firmware, and software, and address operational performance requirements and overall system design.
  • Investigate root causes of complex issues and implement solutions independently or with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, hardware-software integration, and formal testing.
  • Develop software test plans, procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.
  • Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, build prototypes, and evaluate results.
  • Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
  • Interface with test engineers to influence test automation.
