About The Position

This role involves preparing component drawings and specifications for highly complex products, providing support for part and material procurement, and interfacing with labs to interpret test results. The position requires effective communication with program engineers, management, and customers on technical issues and work status. The Senior Associate will also act as a technical consultant, perform technical reviews of quality documentation, and follow established procedures under close supervision.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Master's degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering related field, or have completed their Master's degree within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare component drawings and specifications for highly complex products.
• Provide support to engineering and purchasing for procurement and selection of parts and materials.
• Prepare nonstandard part and material submittals.
• Interface and work with inside and outside labs to interpret test results and define testing.
• Effectively communicate with program engineers, management, and customers on technical issues and status of work.
• Present results of analysis to program engineers and customers.
• Act as a technical consultant in areas of expertise.
• Perform technical reviews of material/component quality documentation including supplier data, test results, etc.
• Follow established procedures and specific, detailed instructions and/or guidance from more senior functional staff.
