About The Position

The Senior Associate, Product Management role is part of Capital One’s Upmarket Referrals Product team, which drives the platform strategy and customer experience for referral programs across Capital One. The role focuses on referral growth initiatives, developing new capabilities, and defining and executing a product vision to scale referral growth. The product manager partners with platform and segment teams to onboard new use cases, expand product offerings, and deliver exceptional user experiences. The role offers development in four areas: human-centered product work, business-focused decision-making, technology-driven delivery, and transformational leadership. The product manager collaborates with technology teams to establish acceptance criteria, identify research needs, break business epics into features and user stories, and guide teams toward a minimum viable product for valid feature testing. They use hypothesis-driven assessment of data, own and prioritize feature roadmaps, and ensure processes and procedures for risk management are followed. Working autonomously in an agile environment, the product manager conducts research and develops features using evolving technologies. They collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists, and subject-matter experts, and seek to understand technology trends and architecture strategy. They build relationships across technology, design, internal stakeholder, and partner teams; communicate roadmaps and business value; and help elevate team results. This is a hybrid position, with on-site presence required according to Capital One’s hybrid policy at the designated office location. The role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
