About The Position

The Business Cards & Payments (BC&P) team is looking for a Senior Associate, Product Manager to join their Data Integrations team. This role is at the intersection of strategy, engineering, and data, focusing on leading the development of data infrastructure to support the Open Banking agenda. Open Banking is a transformative landscape in the financial industry, enabling consumers to control their financial information and driving business outcomes through user-permissioned data. This role requires building customer trust and infrastructure for growth and innovation in this evolving space. The role involves architecting data solutions, managing permissioned data integrations, bridging business and data needs, building and monitoring data pipelines, and ensuring compliance with the shifting regulatory landscape. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

Responsibilities

  • Architect the Future: Work closely with a dedicated tech team to design and deliver on critical Open Banking data architecture.
  • Manage Permissioned Data: Take ownership of technical integration, onboarding and maintaining of first-party permissioned data.
  • Bridge the Gap: Partner with business and data teams to understand and validate internal data needs, translating and operationalizing business requirements.
  • Build & Monitor: Oversee the development of data pipelines/features and establish Data Quality (DQ) checks to ensure our data is reliable and easy to use.
  • Navigate Evolution: Remain aware of the shifting regulatory landscape to ensure our data practices remain both innovative and compliant.
  • Collaborate with tech teams to build comprehensive acceptance criteria, identifying and elevating any need for additional research to define future feature design.
  • Breakdown business epics into features and further into user stories, driving your team towards lowest effort or Minimal Viable Product (MVP) for a valid feature test.
  • Effectively use hypothesis-driven assessment of data to ensure your product or feature delivers on real business needs.
  • Own and prioritize feature development roadmaps, ensuring all necessary processes and procedures are followed to manage risk.
  • Conduct research and develop features that utilize new and evolving technology in an agile environment.
  • Collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists and subject-matter experts to build cutting edge solutions to help customers.
  • Deliver well-managed product platforms for customers by seeking to understand technology trends and architecture strategy.
  • Actively participate in horizontal forums to harness a network of trusted relationships among tech teams, designers, key internal stakeholders and partner teams.
  • Articulate a succinct product roadmap to deliver business value and share with stakeholders, elevating your team’s results and becoming a product matter expert.
